Life is good at Ferrum. We've got what business pundits call "a laidback work culture." Don't get us wrong, we work hard and we put in the hours, but we make sure we're having fun doing it. We've found that enjoying our work actually makes us more productive. There's no quantitative third party analysis to support this belief, we're just doing what works for us.

By "laid back work culture", we mean come as you are. We want you, not your work clone. Bring your Young Republican haircut or your hippie hair or your shaved noggin. Wear your designer shoes and wardrobe or show up in your flip-flops and skater-wear. Decorate your work area with your kitten calendars or your collection of vintage action figures. Bring whatever you got. Just make sure you bring yourself.

We have no qualms rewarding good work. Rewards as in bonuses, weekend trips, day trips tubing down the river, happy hours, etc. Major holidays, and some minor ones, also get proper recognition.

Different is a Good Thing! We're about as equal of an Equal Opportunity Employer as you can get. It's what makes us tick the way we do, having people with different backgrounds, different beliefs and different approaches. We're a diverse group of people, but that doesn't mean we'll just let anyone in the place. There are a few prerequisites. You have to be pretty darn sharp. You need to like working hard.
